Collection: Alex Dipple

Alex Dipple (b. 1967, London) studied Alternative Practice, later titled Fine Art Critical Practice, which was the first Conceptual Fine Art Media degree in the UK, at Brighton Polytechnic in the 1980s. In 2016, she graduated with Distinction as a Master of Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London. Alex started painting in 2024. Her practice makes a circular game of social media. Images of majolica plates, Picasso ceramics or Charles Ray sculptures are shared one minute, and become paintings the next. Completely self taught, her studio is a testing ground.
