Shaka & Nosbe
Parisians Shaka & Nosbe make up the PPA crew - standing depending on their mood for "Small Painting between Friends", "No Prison for Artists", "Buddies full of Alcohol", "Please Protect Animals", "Partisans of the Armed Proletariat"... and many others!
Shaka's figures are fragmented with vivid strips of colour... and often conceal other elements of the subject's psyche, while Nosbe's tribal patterns are influenced by time living in Tahiti. The two styles are usually easy to distinguish, but complement each other perfectly. These guys tend to paint big!
