Damon Ginandes

Another taste of Brooklyn on Prescription Art... Damon's work blends the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional using a variety of materials. Seemingly flat lines and forms protrude into space, suggesting that they are caught between dimensions. The ageless, anonymous and solitary characters appear aware of this peculiar predicament. They are distorted and otherworldly, yet with detached stares they are distinctly human.
